In December 2015 Class A installed 8.64kW of solar for The Foreshore Restaurant & Cafe (Nightcliff Cafe) for Darwin City Council. This system, made up of 270 watt Daqo jPak panels and a SolarEdge inverter (with SolarEdge power optimisers on each panel), will produce an average of 38kWh of power per day, saving around $79 a week in energy costs.
The Foreshore Restaurant & Cafe is open daily and boasts an amazing view of the Darwin sunset; the perfect place to kick back relax and take it all in. They have a walk up counter where takeaway meals, drinks and snacks can be ordered. Additionally, they are licenced and can provide alcoholic beverages with any meal consumed on premises.
