Conveniently located a stones throw from Meningie Hospital, Jallarah Homes is a quaint low care aged facility with 30 beds providing unconditional care and respite for elderly residents and their families.
In keeping with the times, this progressive aged care facility chose Class A Energy Solutions to tailor a commercial solar system to combat the ever increasing power bill.
After analysing the energy usage and carefully inspecting the sites structural requirements, Class A Energy Solutions installed a 50kW system comprised of German Schneider Inverters and 250W premium panels to help Jallarah homes offset their daily consumption. The system will save them on average 76,650kWh per year in electricity and additionally saving over 56 tonnes of green house gas emissions which is roughly 11 cars off the road or the planting of 5,500 trees each year.
One now understands why this flourishing town called Meningie were the 2014 KESAB overall winner for Sustainable Communities.
